ZNS-TV: Bahamas Christian Council Hosts Prayer Service Amidst Escalating Crime

Bahamas Christian Council Responds to Intensifying Crime Rate

Prayer Service Held in Downtown Nassau to Seek Divine Intervention

ZNS-TV, the Bahamian public broadcast service, reports that the Bahamas Christian Council has taken a proactive stance against the escalating crime rate in the country. In a unified response, the Council organized a prayer service on Bay Street, led by Prime Minister and Minister of Finance the Hon. Philip Davis.

During his address at the National Day of Prayer Service 2024 held in Downtown Nassau on January 15, Prime Minister Davis emphasized the power of prayer and its potential to bring about meaningful change. "As followers of Christ, we believe in the power of prayer to bring about change and transformation in our lives and in the world around us," he stated.

The Bahamas Christian Council's initiative underscores its deep concern over the rise in criminal activity, which has plagued communities throughout the archipelago. The prayer service served as a collective plea for divine intervention and a call to action for individuals to stand together against violence and lawlessness.
